Terms of Service

“Ventmark”, “we” and “us” mean the operator of Ventmark and its website. You can reach us at hello@useventmark.com.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• Give accurate details, keep your sign-in secure and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens in it.
• One account per person. Don't create accounts for someone else without their permission, or to get around a suspension.

• A basic listing is free. Publishing is instant and nobody reviews a listing before it goes live, so a listing is not an endorsement.
• List a startup only if you are authorized to represent it. Before publishing you must prove you control its website's domain. That shows control of the domain only; it isn't a check of the company, its numbers or who owns it.
• Everything you list must be accurate and yours to share, including names, logos, text and images. Numbers you type in are shown as self-reported, and you are responsible for them.
• You keep ownership of your content. You give us a worldwide, royalty-free permission to host, show, copy and share it to run and promote Ventmark, including in search results, for as long as it is listed (and for a short time in backups and caches after that).
• You can unpublish or delete a listing at any time. We can suspend or remove a listing, or a whole account, that breaks these terms or the law, or that we reasonably believe could harm other people. A suspended listing shows you our reason.

Revenue is shown as verified only when it comes from payment data a founder connected with read-only access and chose to share, and it covers only the connected products and period. It does not prove identity, profit, ownership of the business or whether a deal is a good one, and payments can still be fraudulent or self-funded. Paid plans and badges are never a verification. • Ventmark is only a place to be found and to talk. We are not a broker, agent, escrow service, investment adviser or a party to any sale, investment or other agreement between users, and we don't take part in or guarantee any deal.
• Asking prices, rounds and other deal details are set by the founder and we don't check them. Nothing on Ventmark is an offer of securities, or investment, legal, financial or tax advice.
• Do your own due diligence and get your own professional advice before any deal. Founders who mark a startup as raising funds are responsible for following the laws on raising money that apply to them, including any limits on offering shares to the public.

Buyers can contact the founder of a startup that is for sale, and investors the founder of one that is raising funds; the founder decides whether to accept. Messages are private between the people in a conversation. Be honest and respectful, and never share passwords or payment details in a message. You can block or report anyone; we review reported messages and may restrict accounts that misuse messaging. We never ask for payments in messages.

• Premium, Premium Plus, Premium Max and Sponsor are optional, prepaid plans for one published startup each. They are one-time payments in US dollars, plus tax where it applies, for the period shown at checkout, and they don't renew.
• Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, so Dodo's buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
• A plan ends at the end of its period, or straight away if the payment is refunded or disputed. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
• Plans change where a startup appears, as described below. They don't guarantee views, contacts, leads or a sale, and they never mark anything as verified.

By default, startups on Premium Max, Premium Plus and Premium appear first, in that order, then all other listings. Within each group, the order considers how complete a listing's public details are, how recently it was first published and how visitors engage with it. Sponsored startups appear in a separate row labelled Sponsored, chosen in rotation. Sorting by MRR or collections uses only verified, shared payment data. Self-reported numbers never affect the order.

Don't use Ventmark to post or do anything that:

• is illegal, or helps someone break the law;
• is false or misleading, including fake numbers, fake listings or pretending to be someone else;
• infringes someone's copyright, trademark or other rights, or shares information you have no right to share;
• is defamatory, harassing, hateful, obscene or harmful to children;
• is spam, a scam or an attempt to collect payments or passwords;
• contains malware, or tries to break, overload or get around the security or limits of the site;
• copies the site or its data in bulk with bots or scrapers, other than search engines following our robots rules.

To report a listing, a message or anything that breaks these terms, including a listing that uses your company's name or content without permission, email hello@useventmark.com with the page's address and what is wrong. You don't need an account. The same address reaches our grievance officer. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 7 days, and act faster where the law requires.

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as the disclaimers and limits below) still apply after an account is closed.

• Ventmark is provided “as is”. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we don't promise it will be error-free or always online.
• Listings, numbers, deal details and messages come from users. We are not responsible for them, for what users do, or for any deal you make with another user.
• As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or lost profits, revenue, data or business. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
• If your content or your use of Ventmark breaks these terms or the law and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will tell you about important changes by email or on the site. Using Ventmark after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
