What is Ventmark?
Ventmark is a directory of startups and the founders behind them, built in India and open to founders everywhere. Founders list their startup for free, and visitors can browse new launches, startups for sale, startups raising funds and startups with verified revenue.
Is it free to list a startup?
Yes. A basic listing is free and stays free. Sign up, add your startup's details and publish: it goes live straight away, with no review queue and no fee.
How is startup revenue verified?
A founder connects their payment provider with read-only access and chooses to share the figures. Verified MRR and 30-day collections come from that payment data, refreshed regularly, and carry a verified badge. Numbers a founder types in are labelled self-reported and never count as verified.
Can I buy or sell a startup here?
Founders can mark their startup as for sale with an asking price. Buyers can browse every startup for sale, compare asking prices with verified collections where shared, and contact the founder through their website. Asking prices are set by founders and are not verified.
Can investors find startups that are raising?
Yes. Founders who are raising can show their round and target amount, and investors can browse every startup raising funds. Rounds and targets are self-reported by founders.
Does paying for Premium make a startup verified?
No. Premium unlocks the tools to connect payment data and the sale or fundraising card, and adds a tier-colored listing with plan-priority discovery. Only shared payment data earns the verified badge; paying never does.
